Which version applies to you

The date on your Form N-400 decides it. Applications filed on or after October 20, 2025 take the current test, which has 128 questions, asks 20 of them and needs 12 correct answers: the 128 civics questions. The two lists overlap but they are not the same, so study the one that matches your filing date. How the two versions differ.
