In the United States, only two kinds of people may give immigration legal advice: licensed attorneys, and representatives accredited by the Department of Justice who work for recognized organizations. USCIS explains how to find legal services and how to avoid scams, and the Department of Justice publishes the official list of recognized organizations and accredited representatives.

About the test information

The rules of the test on this site come from official USCIS sources, and each one links to the page it comes from. Two versions of the civics test are in use, depending on when you filed Form N-400, and some official answers change with elections and appointments; the current ones are on the USCIS test updates page. If this site and USCIS ever disagree, USCIS is right.

No guarantee of results

Practicing here can help you prepare. It cannot guarantee that you will pass the civics test or that your application will be approved. Those decisions are made by USCIS, based on your interview and your application.
