Why this is the answer
Five answers are accepted, and all of them are true of the same remarkable man: U.S. diplomat, oldest member of the Constitutional Convention, first Postmaster General, writer of Poor Richard's Almanac, and founder of the first free libraries. Franklin was a printer, author, politician, diplomat and inventor. He was an accomplished printer by his mid-twenties, organized America's first library whose members lent books to one another, traveled to England and France many times representing the country, and was appointed the first postmaster general by the Second Continental Congress in 1775. He was also the oldest delegate at the convention and one of the signers of the Constitution. Memory hook: printer, postmaster, diplomat, oldest Framer. Any one of them passes.
