Why this is the answer
Susan B. Anthony fought for women's rights, and fighting for civil rights is also accepted. Born in Massachusetts in 1820, she is best known for campaigning for women's right to vote, and she also spoke publicly against slavery and for equal treatment of women in the workplace. She did not live to see the result. The 19th Amendment gave women the vote in 1920, fourteen years after her death, and it became widely known as the Susan B. Anthony Amendment anyway. In 1979 she became the first woman whose image appeared on a circulating U.S. coin, the Susan B. Anthony dollar. Memory hook: the vote for women, and a dollar coin with her face on it.
